Ambushed

Description

A framed cop. A racist witness. No way out. When the powerful leader of a local Ku Klux Klan lodge is brutally gunned down, the monumental task of finding the killers falls on dedicated Black police officer Jerry Robinson (Courtney B. Vance). The only living witness to the execution is the leader's 12-year-old son, Eric (Jeremy Lelliott)—a boy deeply indoctrinated by his father's hateful ideology. But a routine transfer to a secure safehouse goes horribly wrong when Robinson's squad is violently ambushed. Three officers are slaughtered in the crossfire, leaving only Jerry and the young, prejudiced boy alive. Framed for the murders of his own fellow officers by a corrupt system, Jerry is forced onto the run. Trapped in a desperate game of survival, this unlikely duo must stick together to outrun dirty deputies, vengeful Klan members, and a massive police manhunt. To clear his name, Jerry must uncover the truth behind the conspiracy while attempting to save the soul of the boy who hates him most.
